Phase Change Materials (PCMs) are substances that absorb or release large amounts of energy during the melting, solidification or sublimation. They find uses in outdoor applications such as telecommunication systems, electronic sheds, thermal storage, agricultural and in construction.

Please send an email for more information.

A PCM has the ability to absorb large amounts of energy when it undergoes a change of phase. During this change of phase, the material remains at nearly a constant temperature. PCMs can be applied to a variety of systems as long as there is a cyclic thermal load, not a constant thermal load. The systems designed with these unique materials can maintain critical components at constant temperatures to prevent failures and to prevent decreased performance during peak usage (peak heat loads). PCM systems are ideally suited to handle increased solar loads and particular equipment’s heat dissipation.

PCM systems are ideal for

Remote locations where power costs are a premium,
Electronic, telecommunications, and power utility enclosures,
Safety systems that prevent overheating of critical components,
Small buildings that house all sort of equipment,
Outdoor systems which undergo thermal cycling,
Battery systems
We provide PCM consulting services for any outdoor system.

We can help you search (for a fee) the following PCM products:

Bulk PCM (use page from PCM thermal solutions)
Packaged PCM’s
